'Snacking'     Fail to Plan... Plan to Fail

How many times a day do you hear, "What can I eat?". I wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard it over the last 19 years! I have planned weekly menus, but somehow, I rarely plan ahead for snack needs, which causes frustration midday when I have to start poking around looking for a snack that will balance well nutritionally with the day's menu. Many times, I resort to the mundane, or packaged snacks which are expensive, and rarely nutritious! Well, I found a list of 100 gluten free snack ideas online this morning, on a blog ( and was encouraged to make a 'Snack Category' list to hang on my kitchen board (I will share that in a later post). From today forward I will use this quick reference to plan 2 snacks for each day that will work well with our day's menu & schedule. I hope it will be a help to you all. Happy Snacking :)
